For us, a fair price is one that is calculated by truly taking into account the value of the product. It's not about selling brand awareness or image by creating a strong need to belong. At lundi, it's the product that's at the heart of our concerns.
The cost of manufacturing represents the largest share of the final price. This cost is high because we choose high-quality raw materials and ensure fair remuneration for all those involved in our production chain.
Finally, the margins we charge are much lower than usual. This is possible because both our marketing and distribution costs are tightly controlled.
lundi is an independent brand, not owned by any group and financed by its own resources. It's a freedom we cherish, and one that allows us to choose the pace of our development without any pressure from dividend-seeking shareholders.
Produce less to produce better
We manufacture in limited quantities. This allows us to perfectly control our production process, from the selection of our raw materials to the finishing of each piece. This reasoned approach to production also avoids overstocking: we only produce what we can sell. No more, no less. So, of course, we regularly run out of stock. But it's a choice we fully accept, to guarantee the controlled growth of our business.

That probably doesn't tell you much. But 7 hours of work to make a single piece is a lot compared to what is usually done in leather goods. Our products are built with an enormous amount of detail: lining, pockets, reinforcements, slice dyeing... so many operations that require unique know-how and a great deal of patience.
